Hello OLSC,
OLSC volunteered today at the Veteran’s Association of North County today distributing food to military families! It was a fun day, felt great to give back to the community. The next day to volunteer is Friday September 11rh 1-4 PM (show up around 12:0 PM). Today they had a memorial service for the marines who died in the amphibious vehicle accident on July 30th off the coast of California. It was heartbreaking, so sad to see these young men parish.
Thank you to the 20 volunteers who showed up to hand out food today your help was greatly appreciated! I will be sending out a notice to sign up for the next distribution on September 11th, so please join us next month and volunteer!!
