The 7th annual charity event raised a record $480,000 for the Brother Benno’s Foundation. Located in Oceanside, they strive to help those in need in our community with issues like housing and sobriety.
The live auction included a “Night and Day” Surf Ranch experience that raised $340,000. Wave pools continue to expand but not just here in Oceanside. The Austin Surf Club is an entire community development in Austin, Texas based around a future Kelly Slater Wave Company project. Slater’s golf team took 1st place and Dustin won a foursome to Aviara Golf Club. The event was a special one, it put the “fun” in fundraiser.
