ABOUT US

OLSC has its roots in the original Oceanside Surf Club started in the 1950’s. Members and associates include LJ Richards, Phil Edwards (our logo is based on his classic turn), the Eaks brothers, and many others. Oceanside was one of the early hotbeds for California surfing.

The Oceanside Longboard Surfing Club strives to contribute to our local community by promoting youth surfing, preserving surfing culture and history and coastal conservation. Membership in the OLSC is open to anyone interested in supporting the OLSC Mission.
